Baked Squash and Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butternut or buttercup squash, sliced thin

  • 1 cup onion, sliced in thin half-moons

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water

  • pinch of sea salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 

  2. Place the onion on the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer the squash on top. Add the pinch of salt and water. Cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until tender. 

  3. Remove the cover and brown for 5 more minutes. 

  4. Remove and serve.
