Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow or white corn grits

  • 3 to 3 1/2 cups water

  • pinch of sea salt

Steps

  1. Place the water and sea salt in a pot, cover, and bring to a boil.

  2. Place the com grits in the pot, stirring constantly. Cover, bring to a boil again, and reduce the flame to medium-low. Simmer for 30 to 35 minutes.

  3. Place in individual serving dishes and garnish with your favorite condiment. Serve hot.
