Dandelion Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp dandelion powder (prepared as described below)

  • sesame or sunflower oil

  • 1 quart water

Steps

  1. Wash and dry the dandelion roots. Cut them into small pieces. 

  2. Roast them in a skillet with a little oil.

  3. Grind them to a powder in a coffee grinder.

  4. Add 1 quart water and 1 tsp dandelion powder to a pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

  5. Strain and serve.
