Dipping Sauce (for Tempura)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 - 3 teaspoons shoyu

  • 1 Tbsp grated daikon, or 1 tsp lemon juice, or 1 tsp natural mustard

Steps

  1. Place the water and shoyu in a saucepan and heat. Simmer on low for 3 to 4 minutes.

  2. Turn off the flame and add the grated daikon. Mix and place in individual serving dishes for dipping while eating the tempura.
