Dulse Salad

Ingredients
1/2 cup dulse, soaked, sliced, and simmered 3 to 5 minutes (remove, quickly rinse, and drain)
2 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup daikon, sliced into thin matchsticks
1/3 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsps black sesame seeds, roasted
1 to 2 Tbsps orange juice
Steps
Place the dulse, vegetables and sea salt in a mixing bowl and combine well.
Next, place the salad mixture in a pickle press. Place the top on the press, screw the pressure plate down to apply pressure, let sit for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Remove, squeeze out any excess liquid, and if too salty, rinse quickly under cold water before combining with the other ingredients.
Place in a serving dish. Toss in roasted seeds and orange juice and serve.
