Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
5 carrots, cut into large pieces
1-1/2 cups water
1 pinch of sea salt
2 tbsps toasted sesame seeds
1 Tbsp rice syrup
Steps
Place carrots in a heavy pot; add water and salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. (Add more water if necessary.)
Add rice syrup, stir and cook for a few more minutes. Remove from heat and mix with sesame seeds.
Serve.
