Ingredients
1 cup water
2 inches kombu, soaked
1 to 1-1/2 Tbsps shoyu or tamari soy sauce
2 Tbsps bonito flakes
Steps
Place the water, kombu, soy sauce, and bonito flakes in a saucepan and heat. Reduce flame to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from the flame and place in individual small bowls.
