Steel Cut Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup steel cut oats

  • 1Tbsp miso

  • 2 Tbsps dried cutup wakame seaweed

  • 1 umeboshi plum

  • 1 Tbsp green onion, chopped

  • 1/4 nori sheet, thinly cut for topping (optional)

Steps

  • Put the oats, wakame, and water in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil. Reduce flame to medium-low and cook for 15 min.

  • Dissolve miso and add to the oatmeal. Mix well.

  • Cook for another anotheer 2-3 min.

  • Transfer to a bowl.

  • Place an umeboshi plum on top, and sprinkle green onions and nori slices.
