Tempura Nori Roll

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets toasted nori

  • 1/2 cake tofu, drained and ground in a suribachi with a little shoyu 

  • tempura batter

  • sesame, or safflower, or sunflower oil

  • tempura dip sauce

Steps

  1. Prepare nori-tofu rolls as sushi rolls.

  2. Slice into even rounds and dip into tempura batter. Place in hot oil and deep-fry until golden brown.

  3. Serve with dip sauce to help digest oil.
