Vegetable Tempura

Ingredients
various sliced vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots, sweet potato, green beans, etc.)
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup corn or rice flour
1/8 -1/4 tsp sea salt
1-1 1/2 Tbsps kuzu, diluted
3/4 -1 cup cold water
Steps
Mix the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add the kuzu and water. Mix thoroughly.
Chill the batter in refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so.
Dip sliced vegetables in the batter and deep-fry until golden and crisp. Serve with shoyu dip sauces to help with digestion of the oil.
